Butler Trombones C12 Bass Trombone
The Butler C12 bass trombone combines the lightest bass trombone on the market (coming in at 4 lb) with the response, sound, and versatility of a custom-level instrument.
Featuring a 9 ½” carbon fiber bell, carbon fiber tuning slides, a .562” bore handslide (chrome-plated nickel silver inners, carbon fiber outer slide, raw nickel silver braces, and cork barrels), and dual independent Instrument Innovations rotary valves the Butler C12 has a balanced and complex sound, with the ability to project and “bark” in the lower register while remaining stable and controlled.
The standard C12 setup includes a matte finish exterior with a polished bell interior and raw nickel silver metal components; for other options, including carbon fiber polished finish, silver or gold-plated nickel silver component finishes, or detachable bell flare options contact the Trombone Shop for pricing specifics.
