Butler Trombones C10 Large Bore Tenor Trombone
The Butler C10 large bore trombone combines the lightest bass trombone on the market (coming in at 3 lb) with the response, sound, and versatility of a custom-level instrument. Featuring an 8 ½” carbon fiber bell, carbon fiber tuning slides, a .547” bore handslide (chrome-plated nickel silver inners, carbon fiber outer slide, raw nickel silver braces, and cork barrels), and Instrument Innovations rotary valve.
The Butler C10 has a balanced and complex sound with the ability to project and “bark” in the lower register while offering an accessible and colorful mid and upper register. The standard C10 setup includes a matte finish exterior with a polished bell interior and raw nickel silver metal components; for other options, including carbon fiber polished finish, silver or gold-plated nickel silver component finishes, or detachable bell flare options contact the Trombone Shop for pricing specifics.
